Hello. I'm Monica, Serial Entrepreneur, Creative Director and Senior Graphic Designer.

I am a graduate of Pratt Institute with a major in Communications Design. My time at Pratt gave me experience and training in Fine Arts/Drawing/Painting, 3D/Sculpture, Fashion Design, Illustration, Photography and Graphic Design. I've explored many other areas which I think have shaped me including Birth Doula training/Education, participating in a 1/2 marathon and Triathlon as well as Motherhood and other deeply personal work. With 22 years of experience, I bring innovative ideas and a creative perspective to my work. I thrive on the challenge of a creative problem and simplify complex things and ideas. I see beauty in the everyday details and make pretty but powerful things. I have both marketing agency and in-house experience. I've worked with everyone from local start-ups to Fortune 50 clients.

My career started both freelancing and 5 years as an Art Director at Munroe Creative Partners, a top agency in Philadelphia/NYC. I've gotten to directly work with some great people on a huge range of projects and clients including Food/Restaurant, Health Insurance, Real Estate, Non-profit, Wellness and Technology. Clients have included MetLife, JP Morgan Chase, Systech International, Welcome America!, J.G. Wentworth, Advance Realty Group and the City of Philadelphia. After that, I was a contract Designer for Petplan Pet Insurance, contributing to their Quarterly Magazine, website, newsletters, photo books, print and digital advertising, social media, calendars and other marketing materials. I created successful campaigns for Savers/Value Village Thrift, again working more in Retail and Non-profit Marketing on a wide range of print and digital materials including interior and exterior signage/retail displays, social media, bus wraps, newsletters and T-shirts. I've worked for many other small and large brands and clients over the years including Cinamin Consulting, OneCall Services, Kiwi Magazine, ForgeRock, PGMC (Philadelphia Gay Men’s Chorus), The Blue Dove Foundation and my own brands Raw Monje and Blooming Home.

My current home is in Philadelphia, shared with my beautiful and powerful daughter and our sweet kittens, Oliver Stormcloud (yes, he has his own insta @oliverstormcloud), new kitten, LunaMuffin and sweet puppy, Hazel Sunshine. I have completed both a half marathon and a sprint triathlon (even though I am NOT a runner). I thrive from my morning smoothie and afternoon Matcha. I enjoy hiking, yoga, traveling, baking, Ikebana floral arranging, decluttering and jewelry making. In 2018 I became Feng Shui certified through Earth Home Feng Shui.
